ADP is hiring a District Manager, National Accounts, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO)

Speaking of success… it’s our sales teams that make it happen. And that’s where you come in. As a National Sales Representative, you’ll drive new business for ADP’s cloud-based HR solutions to corporate prospects and clients within a defined territory. By strategically collaborating with partners and a little help from our top-notch training, you’ll cross-sell into both new and existing clients and effectively close sales for ADP Comprehensive Services.

THINGS YOU’LL DO: (Responsibilities)

Drive our Business Forward

  • Work with our largest prospects and clients to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals. It’s that simple.

Turn Prospects into Loyal Clients and Raving Fans

  • Implement a top-down sales strategy targeting Presidents, CEOs, CFOs and Owners to build a network with C-level executives. Now that’s what we call networking.

Deepen Relationships across the ADP Family

  • In addition to cloud-based HR solutions, strategically cross-sell into existing accounts by putting the spotlight on ADP’s Comprehensive Services. Wait… there’s more!

Collaborate daily

  • Develop an annual business plan, determine sales and activity goals required to attain or exceed the assigned quota.
  • Interact with existing sales team in a supportive role to maximize territory penetration, develop and execute solution strategies
  • Support overall direction, motivation and leadership to a sales team in a designated territory.
  • Implement a top-down sales strategy targeting Presidents, CEO’s, CFO’s, and Owners to convert prospects into clients
  • Develop relationships with C-Level Executives
  • Cultivate a targeted list of the largest companies in Quebec
  • Be proficient in discovering the prospects/clients current state and where they need to go in the future state
  • Position value and strength of the ADP Comprehensive solutions and related services to new and existing customers in alignment to the customers primary business objectives
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the ADP Comprehensive Solution offering.
  • Maintain up to date industry and product knowledge.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.
  • Execute quality turnover meetings with Implementation and/or Service teams to ensure positive client experience and timely conversions.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation of pertinent client information.
  • Participate in meetings with Product Management team to escalate product issues and discuss industry trends
  • Participate in regular meetings with VP of Comprehensive Services and BPO sales team when required
  • May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions
    Using appropriate sales process tools; SFDC, Avention,and e-order
  • Dedicated HRO Business consultants
  • Dedicated field marketing support for Quebec
  • Monthly and Quarterly marketing programs to generate more leads for you
  • Competitive Intelligence tools
  • ROI and Business Case presentation tool

EXPERIENCE YOU NEED: (Required Qualifications)

  • Preferred experience includes a minimum of 5 years of strategic sales experience selling to C-Level contacts including two or more years of outside business to business sales experience
  • Human Capital Management selling experience an asset
  • Proven ability to create and implement activity plans, coordinate task to achieve a balance between sales initiatives and required deliverables.
  • Demonstrates an ability to set individual goals, monitor the progress of objectives against targets, and develop corrective actions or recommendations to ensure goals are met.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
  • Understanding of business process outsourcing; ability to position value of Comprehensive Outsourcing in competitive situations.
  • Proven proficiency in selling and presentation skills, including prospecting and territory management.
  • Strong business development, prospecting and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to propose and implement creative (but practical) solutions to business and in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate & relate to all levels of the organization through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting).
  • Ability to effectively balance personal accountability for sales results with working collaboratively with sales colleagues and internal resources within the business to ensure consistent accurate information and level of service to clients.
  • Industry knowledge and/or knowledge of ADP’s competitors is an asset

  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • Demonstrated cold calling sales ability, with assertive, positive and persistent style
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with C-level executives
  • Motivated, self-starter with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a collaborative team member
  • 5 years + Experience with business-to-business sales, particularly at the executive level
